Hello from Homer, Alaska from Mike Kammerer, Bob's eldest son
It is w/deep regrets that I cannot be there with you as you mourn the loss of Bob
Over the last 20 years, Dad had grown to be the best friend I have had this lifetime
We had the opportunity to get down to the hard nitty-gritty of our lives & forgive each others failings
Getting past all of the old stuff allowed us to embrace many years of growing friendship
My wish for you all is that you have that same opportunity with the one's you care about before they are gone
I like many of you, have lost dear one's w/left-over unresolved issues and it makes loosing them even more difficult
Bob is finally released from the pain & declining quality of life he experienced over the last year
While I sure will miss him, I am glad he is able to finally be free
My best wishes are there with you all grieving, especially his dear 2nd family Kathy & Mindee
Thanks you so much for providing him w/the love & care you have for so many years
